Allu Arjun's Flick Is Manali Villages' Crowd-Puller

MANALI: For many days now, residents of two Manali villages have been devotedly going to 'Badrinath'. Their pilgrimage begins at the crack of dawn and they all return by night, tired, but happy with the fruit of their labour. Such is their zeal that it's easy to forget that 'Badrinath' is a mega-budget Telugu movie being shot near Manali, and not the Uttarakhand holy town.
In dire need of pilgrims, who courageously save the Badrinath shrine from a terror strike in the movie, its producers decided to go for the real thing. So in came hundreds of sages, 'shani devs' and mendicants from Kothi and Palchan, two settlements in Manali. Young and old, men and women, everybody cleared the screen test for their Tollywood debut.
"My son, his wife and daughter were invited to act by the film unit at Gulaba," said a proud Khek Ram Thakur, an elder of Kothi village, adding that their role included singing, dancing and fighting.
At their end, the shopkeepers and those into promoting tourism at Manali want the movie magic to go on. "All the paupers and self-proclaimed 'sadhus' who love harassing visitors are busy polishing their acting skills. With them gone throughout the day, tourists are much happier shopping here. May the shooting continue for years," hoped local shopkeeper Sanjeev.
Directed by VV Vinayak, this Allu Arjun and Tamanna-starrer is being made as an action-packed commercial movie. The art director, Anand Sai, is said to have spent Rs 3 crore to design the set near Manali.
"The story demanded at least 500 devotees and dozens of sages and 'babas' to stand behind Allu when he fights the villain. The shooting got under way last month at Gulaba, near Kothi, which is the last village of Kullu," said Rahul, the line producer of 'Badrinath'.
Apart from the leading actor reportedly taking martial arts training in Vietnam from action director Peter Hyens, sources say Bollywood biggies Imran Khan and Nana Patekar would play cameos in 'Badrinath', adding to its mass appeal.

Khaleja Audio Date!!

Sony Music Tweets about Khaaleja:)
KHAALEJA (Telugu) audio releasing by SONY MUSIC on 27th Sept 2010 await more info.
Why Are Fans Not Enjoying Puli?

The film Puli was delayed firstly because of the indecisiveness, concerning the nature of the script. Then the project was postponed as the hero wanted to campaign for the Praja Rajyam Party. Eight months were wasted on account of this, then the dialogues were changed to speech oriented one. In this one year gap the thought process of the people involved completely took a turn. If Puli released before or around the inception of the Party, the people might have enjoyed the power dialogues of Pawan Kalyan. But the psychological impact of the disaster the party faced has reduced the best of dialogues to an empty rhetoric. If there is anyone who has to take the blame it is three people. The hero Pawan Kalyan, the director SJ Surya and the producer Singanamala Ramesh..the latter for allowing himself to be taken for a ride and not being stern.

Brahmins to fight against Dubbing Film

It seems really impossible in India to come up with something against the caste system. Every time some caste comes up with several different issues when something related to them materializes up as a film. It's time for Brahmins now to retaliate against something they found fishy in the film 'Periyaar Ramaswamy'.
According to sources, Brahmins Association of Andhra Pradesh is quite upset after watching the dubbed flick. The lead character Periyar, comes down heavily on Brahmins and the system of God in the film. Periyaar criticizes that weapons in the hands of Gods are useless as they cannot really stop a girl getting raped. He firmly states that Brahmins created God for their survival, and now it has become that Brahmins are essential for God's existence. History states that Periyaar Ramaswamy Naicker is one of the greatest leaders to contribute in large for the eradication of the caste system.
Mohan Babu is angry with Gossip Writers

Daring star of Telugu Cinema, Mohan Babu raised his voice against the distorted writings of Internet media. The actor came down heavily on some websites during a tea time chat with his close associates today. The same source shared all this with some other friends and eventually that leaked to the media again. All this hassle started with a twitter pic published by the star’s daughter Lakshmi Prasanna on her twitter.
Lakshmi’s published pic shows a bill board that states “Still A Virgin, Please call us”. The media immediately published stories saying that the star actress likes and supports free sex and so on. Irritated by the writings of websites, Mohan Babu felt very upset with the things received and at a point felt anger for his daughter too. As per the source, Mohan babu states that if you feel excited upon looking at the sultry poster of a heroine, it doesn’t mean that you are cheating on your wife. You may fight for the betterments of a sex worker that doesn’t mean that you are encouraging prostitution.
All this seems that out of competition, some websites cook up stories upon seeing some pictures and write whatever, they like, expressed Mohan Babu.

Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy will soon get back into the Dr Manmohan Singh cabinet, if one were to believe the prediction of Union Industries Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.
Participating in the TSR birthday celebrations held in Visakhpatnam on Friday in a grand scale, Vilasrao said TSR would be inducted into the union cabinet in the next expansion. Not only that, he had also allocated Science and Technology Ministry to TSR, as if he will decide the portfolios in the cabinet.
“He is one of the close confidants of Sonia Gandhi and it is certain that he would introduce the prestigious Nuclear Bill in Parliament in the capacity of the Science and Technology Minister in the forthcoming Parliament session. He had been the president of Parliamentary committee on Science and Technology, a post which he had handled most efficiently,” Vilasrao said.
Well, people have realized how to pamper TSR with praises, because it is precisely for this reason that he celebrates his birthdays so grandly.
Behind The Scene: Rosaiah is Bheeshma of AP!
Andhra Pradesh governor E S L Narasimhan who has gained recognition for his attractive speeches on Saturday surprised everybody by referring to chief minister K Rosaiah as “Bheeshma” of Mahabharata fame.
Participating in the preparatory meeting of Satya Saibaba’s 85th birth anniversary celebrations, the Governor addressed the chief minister K Rosaiah as “Bheeshma Pitamaha of Andhra Pradesh.” He said the veteran chief minister was handling the affairs of the state with lot of experience, at a time when some leaders had given a go by to the human values in their greed for power, money and authority.
The Governor, however, did not mention whether Rosaiah was still fighting or lying helplessly on the bed of arrows. One did not also understand whether Narasimhan was referring to Rosaiah’s age or really praising him for his skiils. In any way, it was a good compliment for Rosaiah.
TDP MLA Warns Naidu Of Assault By Stones!
Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy, rebel Telugu Desam Party MLA from Kovur, has warned party president N Chandrababu Naidu of dire consequences if the latter continued to attack late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Prasanna, who turned an out and out YSR loyalist, called on the Kadapa MP in Ongole and expressed strong resentment over the TDP president’s continued attack on the alleged corrupt practices of YSR family.
“First of all, Naidu has no moral right to talk about YSR’s corruption because he, himself, is corrupt to the core. Everybody knows how he had made thousands of crores during his regime,” he said.
He said it was unfortunate that Naidu was focusing only on Jagan’s properties, ignoring several other burning issues concerning the people. “The time is not far off when the people would stone him even in Seemandha region, as they did in Telangana region, if he continues to attack YSR and his family by making baseless allegations,” Prasanna warned.
Allari Naresh Crosses 2008 Record In 2010?

The tall and talented Allari Naresh is known as the new age Rajendra Prasad and the Tollywood circuit says that he is the most bankable actor at the box office. True to his image and talent, Naresh has been doing films back to back and here is an interesting observation that has come up.
In the year 2008, Naresh came up with a total of 8 cinemas which was a record in itself. However, he slowed down a bit in 2009 and came up with 2 movies. Now, many are waiting to see if he will repeat the act in this year as well. The buzz is that he has got projects deep down that can keep him on his toes for a long time.
While some are saying that Naresh will touch almost 8 films this year, many are waiting to see whether he will cross the record or not. However, 2008 was a complete success story for Naresh and 2010 has not been that way so far. Let us hope that Naresh makes up for the failures through his remaining movies.
A R Rahman: Wrong Icon For Youth

He may be fondly known as the Mozart from Chennai but today, he is a role model to the society and most importantly, he is an icon for the youth.
We are talking about the music genius A R Rahman and the magical tunes he had composed many years ago are famous even today. However, all that glory and shine seems to have become a thing of the past for this man and today, a question is being raised if Rahman has become a wrong icon for the youth.
While his recent spate of movies has failed to impress in terms of the songs and compositions, the nail was struck due to the CWG controversy. The theme song for the grand and prestigious event of the country turned out to be very dull and when Rahman was asked for another version initially, he said no. well, if its cinema then it is ok but it is a matter of the nation and the pride of the country and Rahman’s reaction was shocking. Many felt that he should have taken the criticism as a challenge and proved his mettle so that it will be a good answer to many critics but that didn’t happen.
Though it is now being reported in one or two newspapers that Rahman has agreed to make few amendments, some are saying that he is doing so after tremendous pressure and some are saying that such thing is not happening at all.
Whatever it may be, the damage has been done and impressions which are quite delicate have got spoiled due to Rahman’s stand on the first instant. While his penchant to prove himself in the international world may be high, Rahman must realize that if he is a celebrity then it is due to his fans starting from Chennai to all over this big country. And given the long span of career he still has, it is about time he feels responsible towards the youth of this country.
RGV Puts Finger To Prakash Raj

RGV is known as the film maker who loves controversies, putting fingers in unwanted issues just to attract media attention and so on. He is also good at defending himself with every act that he plays. He brings lot of emotional entertainment to people with his words.
He fights regularly with directors like Karan Johar and now freshly he puts finger to Prakash Raj- But this time in a balanced way.
He tweeted to Prakash Raj, “am a super big fan of urs as an actor but u are a super big let down as a tweeter. I just don't feel that the uniqueness of ur persona is coming through ur tweets. I truly think is one of the greatest actors since acting has been invented”.
In a brief reply to RGV, Prakash Raj tweeted, “Point noted RGV”.
That’s the fresh talk between the two titans.
Nikesha Patel denies disappointment over ‘Puli’

Poor Nikesha Patel faced the other side of news media today. Deccan Chronicle published an interview with her, in which she reportedly expressed her disappointment with the fate of her first Telugu film ‘Puli’. The newspaper, had also quoted as saying few things against the director, star Pawan Kalyan and also against fans who worship heroes. As a result the girl came under serious flak and many said that her career in Telugu Cinema is almost over.
However Nikesha Patel offered denial over her Twitter account saying: “Some of the statements were twisted out of context to make it seem that I complained against Power Star and S.J.Suryah, which I never do. Deccan Chronicle and Kalyan have issues I’m told, so I guess my statement was twisted to Deccan Chronicle’s advantage. I cherish working with Kalyan and look forward to a long successful innings in Telugu cinema.”
Nikesha will soon have to learn the art of differentiating between trusting media personnel and using the media.
Brindaavanam release postponed?

Few weeks ago, producer of the film ‘Bridaavanam’ Dil Raju announced that the film starring Jr.NTR will be released on October 1st. The audio of the film was released with the same spirit. However, one hears that the film’s release could be postponed now.
The post production works are said to be taking time, because of which ‘Brindaavanam’s release could be delayed. However, this delay could only be for a week and the film is expected to be released on October 8th.
Few in the industry think that this is a good sign. Rajnikanth’s high budgeted film ‘Robo’will be released on October 1st, and the postponement of ‘Brindaavanam’ will only help ‘Robo’s collections.
The audio of ‘Brindaavanam’ has been getting good reviews and director Vamsi Paidipally is hoping that the movie follows suit
