Ravi Teja in Vamsi’s sequel to Ladies Tailor!

Vamsi might be directing Ravi Teja again. Although Ravi Teja agreed for Vamsi’s proposal of doing sequel to Ladies Tailor last year itself, the movie didn’t take off. Now the project seems to be revived. According to sources, Ravi Teja recently called up Vamsi and asked the senior director to work on the sequel. Released in 1985, Ladies Tailor is sort of trendsetter in comedy movies and the film strengthened Vamsi’s status as new wave director in 80’s. He has been planning to make a sequel to this blockbuster with a title Fashion Designer for over two years but hurdles keep coming for it to really take off. Finally Ravi Teja seems to have okayed the movie.

But it can only go to the sets next year as Ravi Teja is currently tied up with two films - Mirapakaya that is under progress and Veera that goes to the sets in November.

Sanjana to act opposite Posani Krishna Murali

Posani Krishna Murali has created a niche for himself with a series of interesting roles. He has always focused on trying to raise social problems through his film. Interestingly he also pairs up with some of the well known faces in the industry like Aarthi Agarwal, Gowri Pandit, Tanu Roy and now Sanjana.

Sanajana made her Telugu film debut with the film ‘Bujjigaadu’ under the direction of Puri Jagannath.She later acted opposite Rajasekhar in the film ‘Satyameva Jayathe’. However, the girl’s career didn’t quite take off in Telugu. She is now hoping to re-start her career in Telugu, as she plays a role opposite Posani Krishna Murali.

The 21 year old girl is presently dabbling with Kannada and Malayalam cinema.

Suresh Productions ‘Alasyam Amrutham’ shooting completed!

Young actor Nikhil, has been shooting for a film titled ‘Alasyam Amrutham’ for Suresh Productions. The shoot is now complete.
Even though the movie shooting started only on August 16th, the entire film was canned in just 36 days in a single schedule. The shooting was done in Vizag and Araku regions.

Along with Nikhil, the movie stars Madalasa Sharma, M.S.Narayana, Dharmavarapu Subramaniam etc. Directed by Chandra Mahesh, the film was more or less done in the complete supervision of senior producer D.Ramanaidu. Music for the film has been scored by Koti.
It is expected that the movie will be released in the upcoming festival season.

Nagarjuna-Veeru Potla’s film in December

Nagarjuna’s upcoming film which is being directed by Veeru Potla is all set to release in December. D Siva Prasad Reddy is producing the film on Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. Anushka and Priyamani are the two heroines in the film. Anushka had earlier acted with Nagarjuna in Super and Don, while Priyamani did a cameo in Nagarjuna, Trisha starrer King.
Veeru Potla had earlier directed Manchu Manoj starrer Bindaas which did pretty well at box-office. Immediately after that film’s release Veeru approached Nagarjuna and the actor signed the dotted line. Buzz is that Nagarjuna is going to be seen in a full-length comedy role which an ample dose of action and romance. He’s also using a Rayalaseema accent for his role unlike any of his recent films.

Few days ago, there were rumours that this film might be titled as Ragada. However, Nagarjuna and Siva Prasad Reddy have clarified that the film will not be named as Ragada. The film’s going to hit the screens in the third week of December. Apart from this film, Nagarjuna will soon be seen in Gaganam which is being directed by Radha Mohan.
